Grief and loss touch every part of our lives, and navigating them can feel overwhelming, isolating, or even disorienting. My grief and loss therapy offers a compassionate, supportive space to process your unique experience of loss—whether from the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a major life change, or unresolved mourning. Together, we’ll explore your emotions, memories, and meaning at your own pace, using evidence-based approaches to help you find healing, connection, and a renewed sense of hope.
Trauma-informed therapy is a respectful, empowering approach that recognizes the deep and lasting impact of trauma on the mind, body, and nervous system. In my practice, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where your experiences are honored, your boundaries are respected, and healing unfolds at a pace that feels right for you. Drawing on evidence-based methods like EMDR, ART, and somatic awareness, we work together to reduce distress, build resilience, and help you reconnect with a sense of safety, wholeness, and self-trust.
Welcome to a safe, supportive space for healing through EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy). I specialize in helping individuals process trauma, reduce anxiety, and overcome emotional blocks using evidence-based, brain-centered approaches that foster deep and lasting change. Whether you're struggling with past experiences, chronic stress, or limiting beliefs, my goal is to guide you toward clarity, resilience, and emotional freedom in a compassionate, client-centered environment.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a psychotherapy model developed by Dr. Richard C. Schwartz in the 1980s. It’s based on the idea that the human mind is made up of multiple “parts” or sub-personalities, each with its own feelings, thoughts, and motivations — much like members of an internal family.
At its core, IFS helps people understand, heal, and harmonize these inner parts so they can live from their core Self, which is naturally compassionate, curious, and calm.
Induced After Death Communication (IADC) is a gentle, transformative therapeutic approach designed to help individuals process grief and find healing after the loss of a loved one. Through the use of specialized EMDR-based techniques, IADC facilitates profound emotional relief and can open the door to powerful experiences of connection and closure. Whether you're navigating unresolved sorrow, trauma related to loss, or a deep yearning for peace, IADC offers a compassionate path forward honoring both the science of healing and the mystery of human experience.
Losing a beloved animal companion can be an incredibly painful and deeply personal experience. Bereavement therapy provides a compassionate space to process the grief, honor the bond shared, and navigate the emotional impact of the loss. Through supportive conversations and coping strategies, this therapy helps individuals express their feelings, reduce guilt or sadness, and find meaningful ways to remember their companion. Whether the grief feels overwhelming or quietly persistent, bereavement therapy offers understanding, validation, and healing during a time when many may feel alone in their sorrow.

Beyond Words aims to create a safe space for individuals to explore their emotions, find solace, and build resilience. By integrating various therapeutic approaches, such as EMDR, ART, IADC, Mindfulness, Inner Child Work, IFS, Reiki and Grief Therapy. This dedicated professional is committed to working alongside you, the client, offering support and guidance, as we work through your trauma and walk with your grief. Jennifer K. Peggy has been instrumental in helping me overcome barriers to peace and happiness through various modalities, including EMDR Therapy and Grief Counseling. Before working with her, I did not feel empowered to confront the scars of traumatic childhood and adult experiences. Over the last five years, I have grown more than I thought was possible, and I have even explored aspects of Post-Psychedelic Psychotherapy. I have referred three people who are now benefiting from her expertise, including her insights on Animal Bereavement Therapy and Trauma Therapy. Thank you, Peggy.
I am experiencing an incredible connection to myself and my past as a result of the work that I am doing with Peggy. I did not believe it was possible for me, but she has helped me open up to things from many many years ago. I feel safe and protected as I am proceeding on my journey.
